The Governor of Connecticut has unveiled a new transportation finance plan called CT 2030. The plan calls for $ 21 billion in infrastructure improvements using federal funding, loans and tolls for passenger and commercial vehicles starting in 2023. Tolls will be charged for each of the 14 toll roads throughout the state.

The base fee will be $ 0.50- $ 1.00 for light vehicles, $ 1.25- $ 2.50 for midsize trucks and $ 3.50- $ 7.00 for heavy trucks. Drivers using a Connecticut-issued transponder receive a 20% discount.
